Munches, BDSM Meetups & Socials in Berlin

The first step into the scene often feels like the biggest – and that is exactly what socials are for. A social is not about playing but about getting to know each other: talking, laughing, asking questions and meeting people who are on the same wavelength.

On kinkyevents.berlin you will find the casual community events of the Berlin BDSM and fetish scene clearly listed in one place.

What to expect

The events listed here cover the whole range of get-to-know-you formats:

classic munches and regulars’ tables in a cosy café or pub setting, themed evenings with or without a talk, and formats with play options such as the Teegesellschaft.

Many of these meetups are explicitly intended for the curious and newcomers.

There is no compulsory dress code, no pressure to perform and no expectations – just nice people from the community in a relaxed atmosphere.

Who is this for?

Socials are for everyone: whether you have only just become curious, have been active for years or are simply looking for new contacts in the scene. If you are shy, this is a particularly gentle way in, because the focus is on conversation, not on play.

Consent, respect and safer spaces always come first – a look at the code of conduct is worthwhile before your first visit.

You will find munches on this page. At play parties things get more hands-on, and at dance parties the focus is on dancing. FAQs

What is the difference between a Social and a Play Party?

At a Social, getting to know each other is the main focus – talking, exchanging, meeting people. There's no play involved. A Play Party, on the other hand, is an event where play is allowed. Socials are therefore the ideal, relaxed way to get started.

Can I come to a Social as a complete newcomer?

Yes, absolutely. Many Socials and munches are specifically aimed at the curious and newcomers too. You don't need any skills and don't need to bring anything except openness.

Do I have to dress up or wear a certain outfit?

Usually not. Most Socials take place in cafés, bars, or a relaxed setting, and everyday clothing is perfectly fine. If in doubt, check the information provided by the respective organizers.

Am I obligated to anything if I go to a Social?

No. A Social is non-binding. You decide for yourself how much you share and who you connect with. Consent and personal boundaries are respected.

How do I find the right Social for me?

Check the event calendar and read the event descriptions from the respective organizers. They state whether a meetup is open to everyone, topic-specific, or intended for a particular audience.
