Burlesque in Berlin – Shows, Classes & Workshops
Here you will find Berlin events around burlesque: shows to watch as well as classes and workshops for anyone who wants to get on stage themselves.
The events are run by independent organisers. kinkyevents.berlin collects them in one place and links directly to registration with each organiser.
What to expect
The events listed here cover a range of burlesque formats:
Shows and stage nights, for example by L’aDios at THE KNAST, combining burlesque with storytelling and comedy.
Classes and intensive workshops, for example at IKSK, where you dance yourself and work on your stage presence. There are also formats that combine burlesque with pole dance.
Whether a class requires previous experience and what a show night includes is stated in each event description.
Who is it for?
For anyone who wants to experience burlesque as an audience, and for people who want to perform themselves or give it a try.
Some shows take place in venues of the kink scene and are combined with other programme items, such as a play party. What the evening includes is stated in the description.
Other stage programmes such as shibari shows and kink performances are listed under Fetish Art & Kinky Shows Berlin.

FAQs
What is burlesque?
Burlesque is a stage form that combines dance, striptease elements, humour and staging. The focus is on expression and playing with the audience; full nudity is usually not part of it.
Is burlesque the same as striptease?
Not quite. Burlesque uses elements of striptease but puts a lot of weight on costume, character, storytelling and humour. How much is taken off is up to the performer.
Can I take a burlesque class without dance experience?
That depends on the class. Whether a format is intended for beginners is stated in each event description.
Is there a dress code for burlesque shows?
That is up to the event. Shows in kink venues may have a dress code, especially if a party follows. You will find the details in the event description.
How do I get tickets?
kinkyevents.berlin does not organise these events itself. Each event links to registration or tickets with the respective organiser.
