for those who want more than mainstream parties
The rainbow flags are already ordered, the confetti cannons are loaded, and all of Berlin is once again bracing for two weeks of exception. But let's be honest: if you're here, you probably don't just want to march in the big parade between beer-tent glitter and Top 40 playlists. You want to know where leather meets latex, where the dress code says "fetish" instead of "festival look," and where the season's truly interesting parties are actually happening.
That's exactly what this guide is for. We'll show you the official 2026 CSD dates in Berlin, the Gay-Lesbian Street Festival a week earlier – and above all, the full kinky range of events sweeping through the city during these weeks. From munches to play parties to the hardest club nights at KitKatClub and Lab.oratory. You can always find all the current dates in our event calendar – where we've also gathered most of the highlights featured here.
The Official 2026 Dates at a Glance
Before things get kinky, here are the facts quickly so you don't miss anything:
Pride Month Berlin 2026: June 26 to July 25
Gay-Lesbian Street Festival: Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, from 11 a.m. around Nollendorfplatz((Berlin.de)
CSD Democracy Evening (new in 2026): Friday, July 24, 6–11 p.m. at the Brandenburg Gate, including the first "Drag March" (n-tv)
CSD Demonstration/Parade: Saturday, July 25, starting at 12 p.m. (opening 11:30 a.m.) at Leipziger Straße/corner of Charlottenstraße, ending at Straße des 17. Juni/Brandenburg Gate (CSD Berlin)
New this year: Berlin's CSD takes place over two days for the first time. The 2026 motto is "Attitude is hot" – a sentiment the kinky community has been living by for a long time anyway.
One Week Before: The Gay-Lesbian Street Festival at Nollendorfplatz
The ultimate warm-up event: on July 18 and 19, the 32nd Lesbian-Gay Street Festival transforms Motz-, Eisenacher-, Fugger-, and Kalckreuthstraße into a 20,000-square-meter cosmos of politics, culture, music, and community – 2026 motto: "Equal Rights for Unequals – Worldwide!" (Stadtfest Berlin). It's noticeably more family-friendly and street-fair-like than the big parade a week later, but that's exactly what makes it the perfect entry point into Pride season in the Rainbow Kiez – and the location sits right in the historic heart of Berlin's kink scene. If you're already out and about here, you should bookmark the calendar for the days that follow, because that's when the real program picks up speed.
The CSD Parade: A Political Demonstration with Visible Kink
The demonstration itself is, first and foremost, exactly that: a political march for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, inter, and queer people. But kink and fetish have long since stopped being a niche topic on the sidelines – they're now a fixed, visible part of the street scene, from leather clubs to BDSM associations that traditionally march with their own contingents (taz). The route runs via Potsdamer Platz and Nollendorfplatz to Straße des 17. Juni, with the first floats reaching the finish around 3:30 p.m., followed in the evening by the closing rally at the Brandenburg Gate.
Kinky Berlin for CSD: The Real Highlights
And now for the exciting part. The days surrounding CSD are packed with events you won't find on any mainstream event site – but you will find them in our event calendar.
Warm-Up & Community: Munches and Talks
Not everything has to be hardcore right away. If you want to get a first taste of the scene, this period offers plenty of low-key formats: the monthly Petplay Stammtisch at Café Hardenberg, the BDSM talk "ArtGerecht" (more Socials & Munches), or the "Fetish Comedy Show – CSD/Pride Month Special" at Incognito (see Art & Shows), where kink is met with laughter instead of latex.
Play Parties & Club Nights
The backbone of Berlin's kink scene simply keeps running through the Pride weeks – just in a Pride edition. At KitKatClub, the weekly institutions "Unity" (Thursday), "GEGEN" (every other Friday), and "CarneBall Bizarre" (Saturday) continue, all sex-positive, fetish-friendly, and with a strict dress code. At Quälgeist Berlin e.V., formats like "Friday Fist," "Naked SM," or the bondage workshop "Learn the Ropes" take place (more on that under Workshops). At Lab.oratory, the notorious men-only fetish club beneath Berghain, "FRIDAY FUCK" and the "NAKED SEX PARTY" set the harder tone, while Club Culture Houze delivers the Kreuzberg counterpart with "Friday Fist" and "BDSM Play Date" – you'll find an overview of these play parties at gay-BDSM.club.
The Big CSD Fetish Parties
Kinky CSD Preparty by UNDR (Friday, July 24, Insomnia Berlin) – two floors of techno and hard dance with a kinky dress code to get you in the mood for the weekend (Insomnia Berlin)
UNLEASHED by UNDR – Kinky CSD Afterparty (Saturday, July 25, Insomnia Berlin) – the year's biggest kinky techno party, right after the parade, dress code "Sexy Techno, kinky & Fetish" (UNLEASHED Berlin)
CSD Club Night at Berghain/Lab.oratory (Saturday, July 25) with a line-up of international DJs on both floors (Berghain)
Naked Dance Party at Lab.oratory (Saturday, July 25, from 10 p.m.) – men-only, completely nude dress code, the hardest thing the weekend has to offer
Kinky Taboos: Berlin After Dark – CSD Edition, a city tour with backstage access to Insomnia and the BDSM studio Atrium for anyone who wants to get to know the scene from the inside before joining in themselves (CSD Berlin)
You can find all the fetish and dance parties in the city bundled together under Fetish Dance Parties.
Special Formats Beyond the Club Night or CSD
If you prefer it a bit quieter, but no less kinky: the "Night of Burlesque & Polesque" at THE KNAST – a former women's prison – combines sensual performance with a stylish dress code (more Art & Shows). And the multi-day menXchange '26 (Boat Special) moves bondage and community onto a houseboat for an entire weekend. There's also a female counterpart to this, the sapphic ropeXchange.
Where You'll Really Find All the Dates
The scene moves fast, locations change, new parties pop up. Instead of checking ten Instagram accounts in parallel, it's worth taking a look at our continuously updated event calendar – where socials, workshops, play parties, shows, and munches from all over the city come together, sorted by date and with a direct ticket link. You can learn more about our platform and how we curate events on our About Us page.
Practical Tips for Your Kinky Pride Night
A few basics to make sure your night runs smoothly:
Take the dress code seriously: Many clubs like KitKatClub or Lab.oratory enforce this strictly – streetwear and jeans usually won't get you through the door.
Respect the phone ban: In most kink clubs, photos and phones are completely prohibited, and camera stickers are sometimes placed over your phone.
Bring valid ID: Nearly all events are for people aged 18 and over only.
Consent is mandatory, not optional: Whether at a munch or a naked party – Safe, Sane & Consensual applies everywhere as the basic rule.
Secure tickets early: Big CSD specials like UNLEASHED or the CSD Club Night tend to sell out quickly.
Conclusion: Berlin Stays Kinky – Even at CSD
Between the street festival, the official parade, and the fully official after-parties, Berlin has a second, considerably sweatier program to offer during Pride season. Whether it's a munch, a bondage workshop, or a naked party at Lab.oratory – there's a fitting entry point for every degree of curiosity. Check back regularly at our event calendar, so no highlight slips through your latex fingers this summer.
