Who is Dan?
Dan has been captivating for over 20 years
and has learned and applied different approaches. This means he can use a broad portfolio of skills depending on the situation; from more classic-looking Shibari, Kinbaku and Semenawa to kinky restraints or American style bondage to his own restraints and creations. In this way, he can respond to wishes and situations precisely and according to needs and create a harmonious and coherent whole, which you can also see.
But where does that come from?
Dan learned bondage the hard way: with lots of experimentation, trial and error. This meant that he now understands the underlying technology from the ground up, that he can combine and develop it further and that he can also quickly assess and implement new variants or completely new bondages.
Over the decades, Dan has developed and refined his own bondage style. This is more functionally oriented and takes over traditions and beliefs that still form the basis of many schools. Instead, he focuses on what counts: the exchange between rigger and model, the functionality of the technology and the time spent together.
The first question is: Why do we captivate?
Accordingly, the entire style is adjusted depending on whether it is more sexual, sensual, fun, sadistic or whatever. So every bondage can be something new and you can easily adapt depending on the model and situation.
Rope Shows
Dan can also be seen regularly on stage as an artist.
Dan Apus Monoceros shows his wide variety of bondage styles on stage. Depending on the model, the environment and the approach taken, the shows can be very different. The range extends from sensual and aesthetic bondage that creates exciting images to sexual bondage in more discreet and sex-positive spaces to sadistic predicament bondage and semenawa, where you can emulate the model and read the fireworks of feelings in the model's expression.
Dan A. Monoceros captivates with partners of different genders and impresses with a fascinating combination of rope, movement, music, sensuality and surroundings. The focus is on the representation for the viewer, which invites you to dream along. But the dynamics of the bondage and the interaction with the model and the environment are also impressive components and invite you to get excited.
As re.twisted he performs together with Andy, a professional musician. Together they combine singing with kink and rope work and tell exciting stories in entertaining shows.

Courses & Coaching
Dan is creative, dynamic, and sensual.
He loves variety, the unusual, and the challenge. Anyone who wants to learn a style based on person X or Y after following one of the many Shibari schools is in the wrong place with Dan. He is more of a generalist and comprehensive practitioner, drawing on many styles and disciplines. He understands what he's doing and why. This is also noticeable as a participant.
In the course, Dan focuses on the essentials: functionality, safety, flexibility, and dynamics, as well as emotions, exchange, and connection between model and rigger. He also conveys the underlying knowledge and logic, giving his participants space to experiment for themselves. This quickly puts the course participants in a position to actually apply the bondage in practice without getting bogged down in details.
Dan has been teaching since he was 15. Back then, it was dance and choreography, then creativity techniques and innovation in the business world, and for just over 15 years, bondage and kinks. Accordingly, he is experienced in imparting knowledge and is also familiar with basic teaching concepts. When circumstances allow, he provides plenty of space for exercises and questions and can respond dynamically and flexibly to participants' requests.
